How to view the saved Wi-Fi password on Windows & Mac OS

Here's how you can view the saved Wi-Fi password on a Windows 10 computer:






Open the Control Panel and click on "Network and Sharing Center."

Click on "Change adapter settings."

Right-click on the Wi-Fi connection you want to view the password for and select "Status."

Click on "Wireless Properties" and then click on the "Security" tab.

Check the box next to "Show characters" to reveal the Wi-Fi password.

If you're using a Mac, here's how you can view the saved Wi-Fi password:


Open the Keychain Access app (you can find it using Spotlight search or in the Utilities folder within the Applications folder).

In the search bar, type the name of the Wi-Fi network you want to view the password for.

Double-click on the Wi-Fi network name in the search results.

Click on the "Show password" checkbox and enter your admin password if prompted.

The Wi-Fi password will now be displayed.

Note: If you don't have administrator access on the computer, you may not be able to view the Wi-Fi password.
